Rule Overview:
Hole 8, the “Coulart,” is a tribute to one of the most interesting par 3s in Scotland. This hole features a large and kidney shaped green among its many mounds making it difficult to see the flag on the right side from the tee.
Because of the layout of the course and location of the hole on the green neither the path for a birdie or par is easy. It is incredibly rare for golfers to make a hole-in-one on any course if they shoot low to the ground. For those attempting to shoot a hole-in-one the best method is to hit the ball high with a full swing towards the hole while adjusting for the weather.
