The previous system had inconsistent authentication and authorization practices, with each app implementing its own approach. It lacked an identity/access platform and a single sign-on (SSO) portal, which became a target for competitors’ criticism.
Collaborated with the client dev teams to determine current state of authentication integrations in their legacy applications, design future-state architecture, establish best practices & patterns for integration with the chosen identity provider, and build initial designs for the single sign-on (SSO) portal
We successfully implemented a single sign-on (SSO) dashboard by developing a React web application on CloudFlare Pages and Workers. This allowed us to create a centralized platform for users to access multiple applications with a single set of credentials.
